Frosty Darling

A few months ago, I stumbled across a lovely local boutique called Frosty Darling, owned and operated by artist Gentry Blackburn.

Located at 177 East Broadway in Salt Lake City, the shop reminds me of a 1950’s sweet shop – filled with an exciting array of “must have” items such as jewelry, art, bags, and miscellaneous houseware items. I instantly fell in love with this shop so I would like to share it with you.

I have a weakness when it comes to paper products (some may call it an obsession) – I love the collection Gentry has put together at Frosty Darling. From Pop-Ink and Sukie, to Vinylicious notebooks (a personal favorite) – I have to say, I was in Heaven. And now, for some very exciting news (drum roll, please…) Isabell’s Umbrella is now found among the vast array of incredible artists featured there!

I cherish shops like Frosty Darling, for the support they give to local artists and for the haven they provide for people like me, when looking for a unique gift (even if at times, it is for myself). Frosty Darling truly is a refuge for those who love design and art. Next time you are in the neighborhood, definitely check it out -- I promise you will fall in love too.
